Lugenia Batchelor Snow, 97, of Eatonton, passed away on Thursday, March 23, 2023. Lugenia was born on Dec. 24, 1925, in Eatonton to the late Henry Grady and Mary Cumbie Batchelor.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, William Snow, and her sisters, Edwina Liles and Wilma Williamson. She was a faithful member of The First United Methodist Church, the Robinson Dance Sunday School Class, and the UMW.
She loved to sing and enjoyed getting together with the Golden Girls. She loved attending her grandchildren's and great-grandchildren’s sporting events.
When she wasn’t spending time with her loving family, she enjoyed cooking, reading, and baking her famous yeast rolls.
A visitation was held on Sunday, March 26, at First United Methodist Church Historic Sanctuary at 1 p.m. The service followed at 2:30 p.m., and the burial was at Pine Grove Cemetery.
Lugenia is survived by her daughter, Libby Snow Haley (Bill); grandchildren and Scott Haley (Julie), Dan Haley (Hollie); great-grandchildren Andrew Haley, Reed Haley, Luke Haley, Blake Haley, Hillary Haley, Brady Haley, Bennett Haley and Alexie Waddell Camp (Jarred); great-great-grandchildren, Tatum Camp and Celia Wren Camp.
Vining Ivy Hill Chapel was in charge of the arrangements.
