Mrs. Marsh was born Nov. 10, 1939, and passed away Aug. 30, 2026. Marlene attended Putnam County High School and graduated in 1957. She also worked at Dairy Queen that year.
She earned her Bachelor of Science in Registered Nursing (BSRN) from the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta and worked in the nursing care unit at the VA in Augusta.
She married the late William S. Marsh of Sparta.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Mahlena Padgett Jordan and Dr. Charles Jordan. She is survived by her brother, Charles Denny Jordan of Eatonton; her sister, Julia Ann Hardy of Loudon, New Hampshire; six grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Parkinson's research or Putnam General Hospital.
