It is with great sadness that the family of Martin Neal Drinkard announces his passing on September 11, 2026, after a brief illness. He was 84. Marty was born on June 29, 1942, to parents Walter David Drinkard and Mildred Pate Drinkard.
He was preceded in death by his parents, siblings Helen Drinkard Dingler, Walter “Doc” Drinkard, Charles Drinkard, Juanita Drinkard Yearwood, Howard Drinkard, and his son Christopher Bellows.
He is survived by wife Betty Drinkard, sons Craig Drinkard (Jana) , Rodney Drinkard (Shelby) and Mark Bellows, daughter Deirdre Bellows; grandchildren Steven Drinkard (Katie), Lauren Drinkard Rodriguez (Danny), Mayson Drinkard and Powell Drinkard; great grandchildren Lincoln Drinkard and Madeline Drinkard; and his sister Sara Drinkard Lord. Funeral services will be held Friday, September 18th at 11 a.m. at Crossroads Baptist Church, 106 S.
