Mattie “Pauline” Zolotas, age 87, who loved to be called “Memaw” departed her loving family on November 30, 2022. She was born August 9, 1935, in Thomaston, GA to Perry & Alma Mauldin.
She married the love of her life, Christ, on August 19, 1956, and had two children, Cindy and Greg. Pauline loved her professional work ranging from pediatric nursing to dental assistant. Upon retirement, they moved to Lake Oconee. She loved working in the yard, cooking, spending time with family and friends, volunteering and was a member of First United Methodist Church in Eatonton. She had a passion for helping others and volunteered at Putnam General Hospital and various other organizations.
Pauline is survived by her brother, Roy Mauldin, daughter and son-in law, Cindy & Mike Prince and son, Greg Zolotas, four grandchildren & six great-grandchildren.
Family and friends whose lives Pauline touched are invited to Moores Funeral Home, 301 South Wayne Street, Milledgeville, from 10 a.m. with the services to follow at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 10, 2022, to celebrate her beautiful life.
