Mr. Richard O’Neal “Smitty” Smith, age 70, passed away Thursday, May 21, 2026. The family received friends Tuesday Evening, May 26, 2026 at Williams Funeral Home of Eatonton from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM Smitty was born in Miami, FL on August 31, 1955 to the late Arthur O’Neal and Iva Enid Mcrae Smith. He was generous in spirit. He was a loving and caring father, husband and brother who loved hunting and deep sea fishing.
Smitty is survived by his wife Kathy Smith of Eatonton, children Rick Smith of Eatonton, Lara Smith of Eatonton, and Jairon Barcenas-Mendez, granddaughter Katherine Stinnett and other loving family.
