Ronald Warren Butts, age 54, of Eatonton, Georgia, passed peacefully surrounded by his family on July 29, 2026.
Born in Milledgeville, Georgia, in 1972, Ronald spent most of his life in Eatonton, where he built a life defined by faith, family, hard work, and laughter. He was a devoted father to his three children and a proud “G-Daddy” to his four grandchildren—a title he wore with immense pride and considered his greatest accomplishment.
Ronald dedicated more than 30 years to the trucking industry.
He spent over 25 years as a truck driver, proudly maintaining a spotless driving record with no accidents, before serving as Diesel Truck Shop Manager for Cal-Maine Foods. He also served honorably in the United States Army.
Outside of work, Ronald (BigTymer72) found joy in life’s simple pleasures. He loved tinkering on his Skoolie, making spontaneous trips for ice cream, snacking on Japanese peanuts, playing Xbox, and spending time on the water fishing. His quick wit and unforgettable one-liners made him a favorite among family and friends, and eventually millions of others through TikTok, where his humorous gaming videos brought smiles to people around the world.
More than anything, Ronald will be remembered for the way he loved.
His life was a reflection of humility, generosity, unwavering faith, and unconditional love. He taught those around him that a meaningful life isn’t measured by wealth or accomplishments, but by the kindness we show, the people we serve, and the love we leave behind.
Ronald is survived by his parents, Billie and Diane Butts; his siblings, Rodney, Gregg, and Michele; his children, Ronnie and his wife Sabine, Adrian, and Logan; his cherished grandchildren, Audrey, Prince, Hope, and Ezra; and his beloved furbabies, Tobi, Tango, and Tahz.
The family received friends on Sunday, August 2, 2026 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Vining Ivy Hill Chapel, Eatonton, GA.
A celebration of Ronald’s life was held on Monday, August 3, 2026, at 10 a.m. at Vining Ivy Hill Chapel, with Johnnie Mack officiating. Refreshments were served at Big Tymers House, 150 Imperial Mill Road, Eatonton, following the service. Interment was private at Crestlawn Memorial Gardens.
The family finds comfort in the promise of Scripture: “I am the resurrection and the life. Whoever believes in Me, though he die, yet shall he live.” — John 11:25.
Those who knew Ronald will forever remember the words he repeated to himself each day: “Time to make them there donuts! It’s not about what you did yesterday, it’s about what you can do today.”
In honoring Ronald’s memory, his family hopes those who love him will carry his words with them—living each day with gratitude, perseverance, and a heart ready to make someone else smile.
