Steven Lynn Alliston, 64, of Eatonton, passed away on December 17, 2024.
He was born on November 30, 1960, in Milledgeville, Ga., to Robert Edward Alliston Sr. and the late Frances Ann Carnes Alliston. As he was known to all who knew him, Lynn enjoyed turkey hunting, fishing, and being a licensed taxidermist. In general, he loved and enjoyed life.
He is survived by his loving wife, Tammy Alliston; father, Bud Alliston; brother, Bob Alliston (Dottie); brother-in-law, Allen Garland (Teena); nieces and nephews, Tyler, Mandy, Brice, Baylor, Blaine, and Kealy; great-niece Addy; and great-nephews, Gage and Ford.
The visitation was on Saturday, December 21, at Vining Ivy Hill Chapel at 1 pm, followed by a service at 2 pm. The burial was at Eatonton Memorial Park after the service.
The family has requested that donations be made to the National Wild Turkey Federation in his memory.
