Thomas Goodwin Scott Jr., age 58, of Americus, Georgia, passed away on November 16, 2025, due to heart complications.
He was born on February 16, 1967, and grew up in Eatonton, Georgia, before settling in Americus.
Thomas especially loved the outdoors and enjoyed kayaking with his closest friends, where he felt most at peace. He also loved cooking and took great joy in preparing meals and entertaining the friends he cared about.
He is survived by his father, Thomas Goodwin Scott Sr., and his stepmother, Anita Scott; his step-sisters, Robin Curry and Kristi Perkins; his mother, Gail Harley, and stepfather, Ronald Harley; and his brother, Keith Scott. He is also survived by his nephew, Logan Perkins, and niece, Addi Curry.
A visitation with family and friends will begin at 1 p.m. this Saturday, followed by a service at 2 p.m., at Williams Funeral Home of Eatonton: 306 North Jefferson Avenue, Eatonton, GA 31024.
