Warren McAlum

Warren McAlum 74 of Eatonton passed away at his residence on Friday, August 14th, 2026.

Warren was born in Eatonton, GA on October 26, 1951 to the late Vivien McAlum and Audrey Humphrey McAlum.

Warren was a member of the First Baptist Church of Eatonton, he served in the United States National Guard for 8 years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and especially liked gardening. Warren donated a kidney in Augusta on December 2, 2015 to a friend in Madison who needed it.

He was extremely proud to be able to help his friend.

Visitation will be on Sunday, August 23, 2026 at Vining Ivy Hill Chapel from 2 to 3 p.m., followed by a service at 3 p.m., interment will be private. Warren is survived by his loving wife Paula McAlum, children Steven Anthony Rhodes (Teresa), Josh Kooken (Maureen), grandchildren Marissa Harris (Garrett), Miranda Price (Thomas), Kayla Rhodes (Dustin), C T and Waylon Wombles, Katelyn Kooken, Colin Kooken, great grandchildren Joseph Harris, Noah Harris, Mallory Price, Tate Price, Autumn Rose Hodge, sisters Barbara McAlum Mills (Don), Elaine McAlum Haizlip (Carl), Uncle Jack Humphrey and several nieces and nephews.

The family would like to express their thanks to Georgia Hospice Care, for their dedicated care given to Warren during his last days.
