Barbara Jean Trubey Jackson, born on December 17th, 1948, to parents Mary Sybil and Daniel Trubey, Sr. passed away peacefully at home on February 1st, 2023 at the age of 74. Barbara loved her hometown of Eatonton, Ga. She graduated from Putnam County High School in May of 1966.

Mr. Phillip Edward Ethridge, Sr., age 76, passed away Thursday, Feb. 2, 2023. No services have been planned at this time. Mr. Ethridge was born on Sept. 24, 1946, to the late Louis Edward Ethridge and the late Eleanor Reta Fontane Lawrence. He was a professional golfer.

John Leonard Patient

Mr. John Leonard Patient, age 82, passed away Friday, February 3, 2023. No services have been planned at this time. Mr. Patient was born on December 3, 1940, to the late Leonard Albert Patient and the late Lena Irene Spain Patient. He loved fishing and hunting.

Clarence Eugene Wright Jr.

Clarence Eugene Wright Jr, 89 went to be with his Lord and Savior on Jan. 28, 2023. Preceding him in death are his parents Clarence Eugene Wright Sr. and Vera Mae Ledford Wright, also a sister Dorothy Wright Grimes.

Mr. Bennie Lee Black, age 83, passed away Thursday, Jan. 26, 2023. Memorial services were held at 4:00 PM Sunday, Jan. 29, 2023, in the Chapel of Williams Funeral Home of Eatonton. The family received friends from 3:00 PM until the service time.  Mr.

Joyce Tally, 93, of Eatonton passed away on January 16, 2023. She was born in Whitesburg, GA on August 7, 1929 to the late Charlie and Ruth Davenport. Joyce enjoyed gardening, fishing, playing bingo and word search games when she wasn’t out going to flea markets.

Ronald Emanuel Yearwood

Ronald Emanuel Yearwood, age 59 of Monroe, passed away on January 22, 2023. He was born in Clarke County on March 20, 1963 to the late Jimmie Ruth Whitehead Yearwood and the late Ralph Emanuel Yearwood. He was preceded in death by his twin brother, the late Donald Yearwood.

Kenya Windham Deas

Kenya Windham Deas, 80, formerly of Eatonton, passed away Thursday, January 20, 2023. She was born in Thomaston, Ga to the late Kendall C. Windham and Muree Smith. Kenya was a teacher for the Putnam County School system for most of her working life.

Walter Robert “Walt” Harper

Walter Robert “Walt” Harper, age 19, passed away peacefully on Saturday, Jan. 7, 2023. Services were held on Monday, Jan. 9, 2023, at Crestlawn Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers were Tony Grant, Clyde Harper, Matthew Mason, Kevin Lombas, and Kaden Corbitt.

Dr. James (Jim) Bradley

Dr. James (Jim) Bradley of Eatonton, GA. (Lake Oconee) passed away on Wed. Dec. 28, 2022, at age 89 after a long illness. He was predeceased by his parents James B. Bradley and Frances (Allen) Bradley, his sister Margaret Bradley Foley and brother-in-law Marty Foley.
