This letter is an attempt to get something off my mind and off my chest. I am concerned about our country. I am concerned about the path it may take in the next few years. It all depends on who our next president will be.
We apparently have two choices: Joe Biden or Donald Trump. Tough decision, right? Not for me … it will not be Donald Trump.
Consider the facts about Mr. Trump: One: Numerous women have accused him of sexual assault. One woman charged him with rape and defamation – and won her case. Two: He had affairs with an adult porn star and a former Playboy bunny. Hush money was paid to the porn star to avoid losing votes if exposed. Three: He has been indicted four times and had 91 charges levied against him.
Four: He interfered with elections in Georgia, Arizona, and Michigan. Five: He refused to surrender classified documents. Six: He enjoys the use of profanity in his speeches. Seven: He belittled the husband of a running mate who was on deployment in a foreign country with the National Guard.
Eight: He publicly admitted to wanting to be a dictator over the United States. Nine: He would consider pulling the United States out of NATO, thus endangering all of Western Europe. 10: He refuses to criticize the president of Russia after the death of a dissident being held in prison in Northern Russia. 11: He told the special prosecutor handling one of his cases that he could “go to hell,” and those working with that prosecutor that they could “rot in hell.”
Are these qualifications for a nominee for president of the United States? I think not! They’re disqualifications.
In my opinion, Donald Trump is a danger to democracy in the United States. He wants to institute an autocracy in this great country, with him being the dictator. He wants to emulate Vladimir Putin in being able to control his country’s people.
Chaos and controversy seem to follow Donald Trump around. He is not the leader we need in this country. Trump is a disgrace to the Republican party and Christians should not even consider voting for Donald Trump.
Be careful whom you vote for.
