Dear editor: There are a good many of us who live on Oak Way (in Eatonton) that are wondering just when it turned into a raceway. Any time of the day or night, you can see car after car speeding down the road.

Dear editor: I noticed in the Feb. 23 edition (of The Eatonton Messenger) that EPWSA (Eatonton-Putnam Water and Sewer Authority) will be raising rates by 8.7% starting in March. Without any explanation of how that would be applied, I guess it will be applied across the board.

Dear editor: A group of concerned taxpayers met on Thursday, Feb. 2, to discuss the restoration of Jimmy Davis Park. I was delighted to see that (Putnam County) Commissioner Daniel Brown was present. He informed us that the county is going to take care of this project.
