Putnam county high school boys gear up with 32 summer games between the varsity and junior varsity teams during the month of June. The varsity boys play 20 contests with the junior varsity playing 12.
PCHS kicked off practice Monday, June 6, to kick off the month of play. Thursday, June 9, kicked off the games as the varsity boys took on Screven High School and Morgan County High School. The War Eagles took two wins in those contests to kick off the season. JV also kicked off their season taking wins against Turner County High School and Screven.
The squads geared up for more contests as the varsity boys took on Stockbridge June 11 for three contests while the JV boys took on Augusta for two games.
During the week of June 13, the guys will do some traveling starting the 14th with both teams playing at Westside in Macon. Come the 15 th , they will travel to Eagles Landing for two games apiece. To cap off the week varsity will travel to Lake Point for GHSA Live Saturday and Sunday. JV will play two contests against Augusta.
The War Eagles have yet to release a July schedule but will continue to play a competitive summer slate.
