• Road America is a motorsport road course located near Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin, on Wisconsin Highway 67. It has hosted races since the 1950s. • It’s one of only a handful of road circuits in the world maintaining its original configuration being 4.048 miles (6.515 km) in length with 14 turns.

David Allen was a fine defensive back as a Tennessee undergraduate who prepared for a life after football that had him eventually returning to his hometown of Athens to practice medicine. In his three varsity years, the Volunteers posted a 31-5 record that included three bowl trips.
