Dawgs Softball falls to Ole Miss in Round One of SEC Tournament

GAINSVILLE, Fl.-The University of Georgia Softball Team (40-16, 12-12 SEC) took a 9-5 loss to The University of Mississippi (39-17, 12-12 SEC) Wednesday for their tournament opener. There was no shortage of offense from either squad. Between both sides, there were 14 runs on 22 hits.

Ray Lamb establishes winning traditions

Georgia softball nabs four All-SEC honors

GAINESVILLE, Fla. - The UGA softball team (40-16, 12-12 SEC) ties the 2018 record high for All-SEC Honors with four. Sarah Mosley, Jada Kearney and Lacey Fincher were all named to the All-SEC first team. Sydney Kuma was named to the All-SEC Second Team.

Gatewood wins trip to GISA state finals

With wins over Edmund Burke Academy and the defending champs from Piedmont Academy, the Gatewood Gators have moved into the championship round of the GISA AA state baseball tournament. Piedmont had defeated Gatewood 9-2 and 1-0 in last year’s state finals.
