DURHAM, N.C.-The University of Georgia Softball Team (40-16) had five athletes named to the NFCA All-Southeast Region Team. Sarah Mosley, Jayda Kearney, and Lacey Fincher were selected to the second team with Sydney Kuma and Sydney Chambley selected to the third team.

War Eagles have ‘business like’ mindset as spring ball winds down

Putnam County had one of its best years on the gridiron in program history last season.
The War Eagles won 12 games last season, tying a school record. They also made it to the Elite Eight round of the GHSA Class AA state playoffs in 2021.

SAVANNAH, GA. – Despite losing the GISA Class AA state championship for a second straight year, Gatewood baseball head coach Brandon Moss is proud of his team.
The Gators battled Terrell Academy all weekend long but unfortunately didn’t come out on top.

With the new school year rapidly approaching, Putnam County High held volleyball tryouts for the fall.
The volleyball coach, Francisco Aguire, was also able to find two assistant coaches for the upcoming season, both ready to make an impact.

Dawgs Softball falls to Ole Miss in Round One of SEC Tournament

GAINSVILLE, Fl.-The University of Georgia Softball Team (40-16, 12-12 SEC) took a 9-5 loss to The University of Mississippi (39-17, 12-12 SEC) Wednesday for their tournament opener.
There was no shortage of offense from either squad. Between both sides, there were 14 runs on 22 hits.

Kilgore wins state title in long jump; PCHS boys finish top-10 overall at state meet

The Putnam County boys’ track and field team sent seven athletes to the GHSA Class AA state meet this past weekend and left with a fifth-place overall finish.
The War Eagles’ day was highlighted by junior Jalon Kilgore placing first overall in the long jump.
