No. 5 Georgia will host No. 17 Alabama in a major SEC matchup this Saturday at Sanford Stadium. This game between the Bulldogs (3-0) and the Crimson Tide (2-1) is significant for a number of reasons.

Putnam prepares for Social Circle squad

After beating McNair last Friday, Putnam County (3-2, 1-0) continues its region schedule this week at Social Circle (3-2, 1-0).The Redskins defeated Utopian Academy 52-0 last Friday in their first region game.

War Eagles hit reset button during bye week

Gators break into win column

The weight of four straight losses to open the season finally lifted last Friday night as Gatewood picked up its first win this year in front of a Gold-Out home crowd. The Gators beat Mount de Sales Academy 13-10 with a late score by junior Landon Moreno.

Rocky Flop: Dawgs win thriller over Vols

KNOXVILLE - The top 15 matchup between Georgia and Tennessee turned into an instant classic Sept. 13, as the No. 6 Bulldogs defeated the No. 15 Volunteers 44-41 in overtime.It was a game that fans of each team won’t soon forget.

Lady Gators struggle after strong start

After a 4-1 start to the 2025 season, the Gatewood softball team has struggled. The Lady Gators sit at 6-5 overall and 0-2 in region play after Tuesday’s loss to Athens Christian.During the last week of August, Gatewood lost to Johnson County 8-5 but defeated Windsor Academy 13-4.
