Georgia Bass Trail hosts United in Pink tourney

Mike Tarrar and the folks at Georgia Bass Trail hosted the 5th annual United in Pink Bass Fishing Tournament on Oct. 26, based at Dennis Station on Lake Sinclair. More than 90 boats entered, and the top five teams shared $5,000 in prize money.

Georgia left Everbank Stadium in Jacksonville with a 34-20 win over rival Florida, but it didn’t come easy. Midway through the fourth quarter, the game was tied 20-20 before the No. 2 Bulldogs finally pulled away.

The annual Georgia- Florida rivalry will be renewed in Jacksonville at Everbank Stadium this Saturday. The No. 2 Bulldogs (6-1, 4-1 SEC) will face the Gators (4-3, 2-2), led by talented freshman quarterback DJ Lagway after starter Graham Mertz suffered a season-ending injury a few weeks ago.
