Smart, Bulldogs look to stay perfect in Nashville

After defeating the No. 20-ranked Kentucky Wildcats in Sanford Stadium last Saturday, the Georgia Bulldogs now prepare to travel to Nashville this weekend.

Georgia SCI hosts ‘Cast and Blast’ for vets

The Georgia Chapter of Safari Club International (SCI) and Glasslined Technologies, a local manufacturer in Greene County, hosted 14 Purple Heart recipients during its inaugural Wounded Veterans ‘Cast and Blast’ event on Sept. 18-20, at Lake Oconee.

Gators rebound with big win over Lancers

After suffering its first loss of the season a week earlier, a 35-0 thrashing at the hands of Ste. Anne Pacelli, Gatewood bounced back last Friday night in Macon with a 35-27 victory over Central Fellowship Christian Academy (CFCA), the defending GIAA Class AA champions.

Passing prevails in Putnam County win over Westside

Putnam County (4-2, 3-0 Region 4-AA) has been a run-first team all season, although its passing game shined on Friday night as the War Eagles defeated Westside-Augusta 28-15 at Al Reaves Field.
