The Plaza Arts Center in Eatonton recently agreed to become an official screening partner of the Southern Circuit Tour of Independent Filmmakers for its 2024-25 season.
The Broadway Intensive Program is preparing to perform “Working,” a musical that portrays American workers that “the world so often takes for granted.” For this program, participants have only two weeks to learn their lines, practice on stage, prepare their set, and learn all of the technology to put on a full Broadway production. Steel Magnolias will open this Friday, April 19, with additional performances on April 20, 26, and 27 at 7 p.m., as well as April 21 at 2:30 p.m.
