JMA gets two dominant wins to advance in playoffs

The John Milledge Academy Trojans came back from a disappointing 11-1 loss last Friday to the Valwood Valiants by winning games two and three. The Trojans were scheduled to play a doubleheader last Friday, but due to inclement weather, game two was postponed.

JMA beats Heritage 10-3 to advance to AAA semifinals

After enjoying a first-round bye, No. 1 seed John Milledge Academy (JMA) began its playoff run for back-to-back GIAA Class AAA state baseball championships last Friday when the Trojans hosted Heritage Academy.

Trojans trounce Bucs in 10-0 home win

John Milledge Academy resumed play after spring break with its only game of the week Apr. 10, and scored a non-conference 10-0 win at home over Briarwood Academy. Cooper Wilburn started on the mound for the Trojans and threw a three-up, three-down first inning before the Trojans grabbed their bats.

JMA baseball starts out 2-2 in region play

A home-and-home series delivered two region wins for John Milledge Academy (JMA) over Mount de Sales Academy (MDSA) late last month, but the Trojans suffered a pair of losses to league rivals Tattnall Square Academy (TSA) the first week of April.
