Putnam softball seeks to ‘bring back the fire’

Putnam County softball began its season this week, and head coach Mollie Jones is hoping for a better result in 2025.The Lady War Eagles finished 2024 with a 3-17 overall record after a 3-16 mark two years ago.

Putnam County softball prepares for new season

The girls of the Putnam County High School softball team endured a couple of tough outings in preseason scrimmage action, but their coach remained upbeat about the upcoming schedule. Putnam County went to bat for the first time this season on July 10, in a scrimmage at Warner Robins High School.

Jones named PCHS softball coach

Softball at Putnam County High School has a new head coach.With previous experience coaching softball as an assistant at Warner Robins High School, Mollie Jones has a true passion for the sport.
