Kel-Mac Saddle Club makes donations, plans events

Kel-Mac Saddle Club, one of the longest-running saddle clubs in the state of Georgia, recently donated $4,000 back to its immediate community. Over the past 48 years, Kel-Mac has raised and contributed more than $167,500 to local charitable causes.

“Fun is good,” Dr. Seuss once said, and fun will be had this Saturday during the 10th annual Ferst Readers Seuss on the Loose Festival at Putnam County Primary School (162 Old Glenwood Springs Rd.), featuring a fun run and all things Seuss.
Fun Run registration begins at 9 a.m.

Romance is alive at OPAS Valentine’s Day show

OPAS delivered a unique Valentine’s Day concert on Feb. 14 at Festival Hall in Greensboro that transported audiences back to the exuberant era of the 1920-30s.
