MMCC to officially open John Lewis series Sunday

The Madison-Morgan Cultural Center (MMCC) will hold a formal opening of the John Lewis Series at 2 p.m. this Sunday (Feb. 18), featuring a powerful exhibit by Morgan County native Benny Andrews, who died in November 2006.

Passport to Fashion benefits St. Mary’s foundation

On Feb. 3, the Rotary Club took 71 students from Greene and Putnam Counties on a trip to Shoe Carnival in Augusta, where they had the opportunity to select a brand-new pair of school shoes, a backpack, and a pair of socks.
