Eatonton-Putnam Library welcomes new manager

The first time Abrielle “Abby” Boatfield visited the Eatonton-Putnam County Library, she entered as a little girl through the old entrance facing Church Street. These days, a major renovation has repurposed that same entrance into the exterior glass wall of her office as the library’s new manager.

Alliance makes Q1 donation to Meals on Wheels

Alliance Home & Land Group selected Meals on Wheels through the Greene County Senior Center for its quarterly Alliance Gives Back community charity program. This event was open to the public and everyone was encouraged to bring cleaning supply donations.

Lakeside youth help with Victory Train mission

The Lakeside Church Youth Group came out in full force on March 11, to help make educational packets for The Victory Train children. “It was an amazing day for our community,” Victory Train President and founder Theresa Kemp said.
