Authorities are searching the city of Eatonton for a man who has been missing since Monday, Dec. 19.
Michael Maddox, 62, is commonly seen walking the sidewalks of Eatonton, looking up at the sky as he walked, according to Eatonton Police Chief Howell Cardwell.
Maddox’s family members notified Eatonton police on Christmas Eve that he had not been home or seen since Monday.
Cardwell said Maddox is usually seen within one mile of McDonald’s or NAPPA. Eatonton police officers and Eatonton Fire Department firefighters have been searching in that area, looking in and around buildings. They now have expanded their search beyond the areas Maddox frequently wandered.
