PCHS piano students present fall recital

Students from the Putnam County High School piano class presented their Fall Piano Recital on Dec. 12, showcasing a wide range of musical styles and skill levels.

The recital featured performances by students who have been studying piano for several years, as well as others who began their musical journey in August. Throughout the wide levels of experience, each student demonstrated noticeable progress and confidence on stage.

The program included a diverse selection of pieces, ranging from classical and contemporary works to popular music favorites such as “Bohemian Rhapsody,” and selections from Stranger Things. During a performance of Elvis Presley’s “Can’t Help Falling in Love,” students from the school’s choir joined in from the audience, adding a special, joyful atmosphere to the event.

The PCHS piano class is taught by Amanda Stover, who guides students through different learning pathways based on their experience level. The concert reflected both individual growth and the class's collective effort throughout the fall semester.
