Turned summer over night. Too hot at 85-plus to work outside after 10 a.m. Hope we get a few days of rain or I will be hauling my sprinkler out to the garden. Zeke is worried his potato patch was planted too early or too deep. Not much action since the flood. Next year he is planning carrots and corn. Really big crowd at the car show on Saturday at the Artisans Village. Good food, fun and music. Cars came from as far as St. Petersburg, Florida. Zeke said it reminded him of his old ‘32 Ford Duce coupe - two four-barrel carbs, fast four transmission and racing rear end. George asked if it had air conditioning. Hear Commissioners race is heating up. Should have had an open forum at The Plaza so folks could ask questions. Many were not at the Community Meeting.
