Lake Oconee Dentistry celebrates 24 years of business

This year marks the 24th anniversary of Lake Oconee Dentistry. Owned and operated by Drs. David and Patti Bradley, the practice provides standard preventative maintenance exams and cleanings, as well as a variety of cosmetic and restorative dental enhancements.
Putnam Christian Outreach awards scholarships to students who devoted volunteer hours to PCO and submitted a short essay about their volunteer experience. Each of these students received a $1,000 scholarship to assist in furthering their education. Winners include Ally Blythe of Lake Oconee Academy, Garric Embry of Gatewood Schools, Lillian Thomas of Putnam County High School and Tayla Merritt of Lake Oconee Academy. CONTRIBUTED

Macon suspects arrested for theft, racketeering

Four Macon people are being held without bond in jail at the Putnam County Sheriff’s Office because they “picked the wrong town.” The four are accused of stealing thousands of dollars’ worth of items from the Eatonton Walmart using some creative means, according to authorities.
