Woman flown to hospital after house fire

A Putnam County woman was flown by medical helicopter this morning following a fire at her home.Putnam County Fire Department Chief Thomas McClain said a call came in at 7:59 a.m. reporting a porch fire at a residence on Rockville Springs Road.

A Milledgeville man pled guilty in Baldwin County Superior Court last week to the 2023 murder of a Putnam County man.Tavish Nigel Goddard was sentenced to life in prison by Ocmulgee Judicial Circuit Superior Court Chief Judge Alison T. Burleson.
