A babysitter was arrested on murder charges in the death of a baby she was watching in her home while the baby’s mother was at work, according to Eatonton Police Chief Howell Cardwell.Reyna Lopez, 42, of East Marion Street, Eatonton, was arrested on Nov.

Firefighters extinguish blaze at Eatonton store

As employees were opening the Napa Auto Parts store for business Tuesday morning, a fire broke out. They escaped and called 911.According to Fire Chief Jamey Williamson, Eatonton Fire Department firefighters responded within three minutes of receiving the call at 7:43 a.m.
