One arrested in Eatonton Waffle House shooting

A barrage of gunfire outside of Eatonton’s new Waffle House Monday caused quite the chaos, but Eatonton police officers were quickly on hand securing the scene. No one was injured, and one arrest was made. According to Eatonton Police Chief Howell Cardwell, the investigation remains active.

Kemp announces another $1B tax rebate

For the second time in three years, Gov. Brian Kemp is giving Georgians a tax rebate worth more than $1 billion.Kemp said Tuesday he will include the rebate in the mid-year budget he introduces to the General Assembly in January.

Lake Oconee Elks Lodge honors wounded veterans
