Head-on collision claims father's life

An Eatonton man was killed in a head-on collision this afternoon, according to Putnam County Sheriff Howard Sills. Terrance Butts, 45, of Eatonton, was killed in the crash that happened around 3:45 p.m. today (May 17).

Two nabbed after chase, hours-long manhunt

A car filled with seven people crashed into a tree recently, and miraculously, no one was injured, Eatonton Police Chief Howell Cardwell said.
