The Georgia statewide deer hunting firearms season opens this Saturday and continues through Jan. 14, 2024. “The deer hunting firearms season is right around the corner, and I am expecting a fantastic season ahead,” said Charlie Killmaster, state deer biologist for the Wildlife Resources Division.

Putnam County passes state election integrity test

Putnam County’s voting systems – hardware and software – have been deemed “secure, unaltered, and fully functioning,” according to the office of Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger.
