An Atlanta man is facing charges in Eatonton after he attempted to cash a fake paycheck at The Peoples Bank, authorities say.
The man reportedly walked into the bank on Nov. 28 around 4 p.m. and handed the teller a check from Southern Yankees LLC in the amount of $925, according to an incident report by Eatonton police officer Rebecca Meeks.
