UPDATES 7:51 p.m.: Water has been restored on the Pea Ridge Road side of U.S. 441 and crews are working on the Twin Bridges Road side currently, even though darkness has fallen, and will have it restored shortly, Brice Doolittle, with EPWSA said.
Customers who were without water are under a boil water advisory once it is restored.
A boil water advisory means the water must be heated to a full rolling boil for one minute before it is used.

Water has been restored for Eatonton residents, but some Putnam County residents are still waiting on theirs, said Brice Doolittle, EPWSA's ESG Operations project manager.
The water tanks in the city are now about halfway filled, Doolittle said, and those customers have water. However, county customers on the Pea Ridge Road side of U.S. 441 lost their water about 4:30 p.m. Monday, Dec. 26, and then those on the Twin Bridges Road side lost theirs about 10 p.m.
Doolittle said he had to shut off the supply lines to give the tank time to refill, and they were still shut off this morning.
Meanwhile, Doolittle said he and the EPWSA employees are driving the roads in those areas doing non-routine water meter reads, just as they did in the city yesterday. If a meter is registering unusually high for an unoccupied house, then a cracked or burst water pipe is probably at fault, so the water is being turned off at that residence until a repair is made.
As flow to the leaky meters is shut off, the water tank will refill and water service will be restored to those in the Pea Ridge Road area first, followed by those in the Twin Bridges area. He estimated water would be restored sometime this afternoon.
"We are notifying and updating the affected customers via a text system and doing our best to keep everybody informed," Doolittle said. "And we appreciate their patience as we take care of this problem."
He encourages all who have water service to continue to conserve water use as much as possible until the situation returns to normal.
