Glenda Ridley has been a Putnam General Hospital Foundation member since its inception in 1998 but will be stepping down as of Dec. 31 this year after 25 years of continuous service.
Backing up Ridley are Secretary Laura Gailey, Vice President Wil Haley, Maggie Milner, Mike Rountree, Kelly Beasley, Rachel Harvey, Heidi King, Susie Noles and Bobby Lewis. PGH Foundation Director Tracy Stickley also is an ex-officio member who helps with administration.
When the Georgia Heart program began in 2017, the Foundation worked primarily as ambassadors to get donors signed up, and at this year’s Dairy Festival, the Foundation held its first fundraisers to raise more than $2,500 with a raffle and by sponsoring the dunk booth.
Last year, the PGH Foundation purchased a pair of Steris Stabilizers for the hospital’s operating room suites, at a cost of more than $90,000, using money that had been accumulating since 2017 in its bank accounts.
