Eatonton police are investigating a shooting that took place in Eatonton Friday night.
A barrage of bullets were fired at a residence on the 100 block of Hudson Road around 9:15 p.m., according to Eatonton Police Chief Howell Cardwell. No one was injured.
The shooting was not a random act; the victim was in the carport at the time but was not hit although two vehicles were damaged by the bullets. Officers located 13 shell casings in the carport, driveway and road, Cardwell said. The casings were from .40-caliber and 9mm handguns.
The two shooters were dropped off by a vehicle and walked past the residence and began shooting. Cardwell said he had one person of interest he is looking for and officers are still investigating the scene and talking to neighbors.
