A 40-year-old Madison man was wounded during a homecoming celebration at Butler-Baker School in Eatonton early Saturday.
Eatonton Police Chief Howell Cardwell said the man was shot in one of two shootings that happened around 1 a.m. The shooter turned himself in to authorities Tuesday at 5 p.m., under an arrangement between Cardwell and the shooter’s attorney.
