David Lowe

David B. Lowe, age 66, of Eatonton and formerly of Fairmount, passed away on Thursday, February 27, 2025, at Brightmoor Hospice in Macon.David was born on June 30, 1958, in Fairmount, GA, the son of the late William Brooks Lowe and Betty Jean Carney Lowe.

John Henry Hall

John Henry Hall, age 70, of Eatonton, died peacefully in his home on March 1st, 2025. A Memorial Service will be held at 11:30 am on Saturday, March 8, 2025, in the Historic Sanctuary of the Eatonton Methodist Church.

Robert Shinn

Robert Shinn, 86, went to be with the Lord on February 25, 2025, at Piedmont Athens Regional Hospital. He was born June 25, 1938, to the late Frank and Alma Shinn in Salisbury, NC. He moved to Eatonton, Ga., when he was four years old. He married the love of his life, Gloria Thompson March 12, 1959.

Martha Adams

Martha Jo Manley Adams, daughter of Emory Van & Dorothy Gregory Manley, was born November 21, 1930, in the Pea Ridge community of Putnam County and died February 10, 2025, at 94 Martha was married to Eatonton native Edward I. Adams for 61 years until he died in 2008.

Polly Parham

Polly Parham, 87, passed away on February 12, 2025, at Piedmont Athens Regional Medical Center. Her service was held on Saturday, February 15, 2025. Visitation started at 10 a.m., and the service followed at 11:30 a.m. She was buried at Mt. Ararat Church cemetery.

Dennis Griswell (Big D)

Dennis Ray Griswell, age 79, of Hiawassee, Georgia, passed away at Chatuge Regional Hospital on Monday, February 10th, 2025.Dennis was born on October 18, 1945, in Tallahassee, Florida, to the late Richard and Evie (Snyder) Griswell.

Paul Styles, 75, of Eatonton, passed away on Sunday, February 2, 2025, at his residence.Paul was born in Bryson City, NC, on August 4, 1949, to the late Kelly and Vella Rosetta Styles. He enjoyed watching TV, football, and spending time with his grandchildren. He lived a very simple life.

Dr. James Edwin Williams, Jr., age 75, of Eatonton, Georgia, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 21, 2025.Born on February 7, 1949, in Lithonia, Georgia, James was the beloved son of the late James Edwin Williams and the late Mary Julia Bryant Williams.

Trina Meadows Callaway passed away on January 24, 2025, at 82. Trina was born in Eatonton, GA, on January 10, 1943, to Ralph Meadows and Huldia Brown.She was employed at Enterprise Aluminum Company until it shut down. Following that, she worked at Hanes until it also closed.
