Dairy Festival a big success

Dear editor: Again it has been a very busy, busy week, but I absolutely love it. First on the agenda was the Ferst Foundation storybook character contest. I played the perfect Little Red Riding Hood. I had fun, fun, fun and I can’t wait to participate again.

Dear editor: TRANSPARENCY – PLEASE! The taxpayers have a right to know. At their June 3rd meeting the Putnam County BOC awarded a contract to re-locate the County waterline between Bethel Church Road and the Rock Eagle Tech Park. The re-location is necessary due to the widening of Hwy 441.

Dear editor: My name is Ruth Garrison, and I am 82 years old. In the early 1940’s my family lived in Eatonton, and we had a young African American girl called “Boots” who lived with us. Boots was always a big sister to me, and she would be around 92 now, so possibly still living.
