Two up, two down, wait for next year. Unfortunately, that was the result of two games played by the Putnam County 12-Under All-Stars this past weekend in the state Dixie Youth Baseball Championship tournament in Madison.

According to popular legend and the “experts” at the History Channel, Lake Lanier is haunted. Now, I’ve only fished it a few times, but all I’ve ever found is hungry spotted bass, big stripers, and a ton of fun! If that is haunted… Then I’m good with it!

The golden hour for USA softball

USA softball secured the gold medal at the world games as they took down the Japanese national team in a 3-2 nailbiter. The red, white, and blue went undefeated and picked up three mercy rule wins. The USA also only gave up four earned runs through their five-game slate.
