Gatewood hosts Pee Wee Basketball Camp

Gatewood School hosted its second annual Pee Wee Basketball Camp May 31 through June 2. Coach Jordan Camp and Coach Don Keiser facilitated the camp for the youngsters in grades kindergarten through fifth grade. There were approximately 35 campers in attendance.

REV Motorsports GasGas’ Grant Baylor took his first win of the season at this weekend’s Cherokee National Enduro, round four of the Kenda AMA National Enduro Series in Greensboro, beating his brother, AmPro Yamaha’s Steward Baylor, by 18 seconds after six tests and 75 miles of racing.

The Dairy Festival begins bright and early each year with a race kicking off the day’s events. Formerly a 10K race called the Torture Trail hosted by Farmers and Merchants Bank, this year’s race was hosted by the Eatonton Pilot Club. It is now known as the Dairy Festival 5K Road Race.
