Putnam Board of Education approves $246K in purchases

The Putnam County Board of Education approved the purchase of a $149,000 school bus, a $97,000 facilities contract, and discussed an $18 million banking proposal Feb. 23, during the second of two routinely scheduled monthly meetings.

PCMS performs for Board of Education

BOE names HEART recipients; watches PCHS showcase

The Putnam County Board of Education presented its September HEART awards and watched the Putnam County High School showcase at its work session Sept. 8 in the PCHS theater.

PGH makes pay pitch to BOC

BOE names HEART award recipients

Putnam County Board of Education members discussed a borrowing resolution, approved personnel changes, and recognized several outstanding employees at their monthly work session and a called meeting on Monday night.

BOE discusses new bus, personnel, school, camps

BOE honors RESA winners and Smith’s retirement

Monday’s Board of Education meeting was full of squeals, smiles, and tears as kindergarten through 12th-grade students received their awards from the Oconee RESA regional art competition. The board said goodbye to board member Eugene Smith.
