First Call puts fashion first in May fundraiser

First Call Pregnancy Center (FCPC) held its 5th annual Spring Fashion Show Fundraiser on May 9, at Festival Hall in Greensboro. Doors opened early for shopping hosted by Spivey Jewelry & Fashion, followed by event hosts Dr. Rick Franks and Melinda Spivey kicking off the fun-filled event at 11 a.m.

City council approves apartment complex

Variances for a potential three-story replacement for the Eatonton Housing Authority’s 50-unit Hillside Apartments were approved by Eatonton City Council at its mid-month meeting Monday night.

Kina’s Krazy Kreations opens in Eatonton

It was a dream that became a reality on May 6 as Anfrankina Little staged a grand opening for Kina’s Krazy Kreations, a roadside chicken wings and burgers restaurant on the outside of the curve on Hwy. 44/South Oak Street, heading into the south end of downtown Eatonton.
