Dairy Festival signals summer for Eatonton

Head-on collision claims father's life

An Eatonton man was killed in a head-on collision this afternoon, according to Putnam County Sheriff Howard Sills. Terrance Butts, 45, of Eatonton, was killed in the crash that happened around 3:45 p.m. today (May 17).

Grease Monkey stands apart from competition

Grease Monkey, a locally owned automobile service, recently opened its doors at 101 Walmart Dr. in Eatonton.“We opened this location on Dec. 15 built on customer service,” said James Painter, co-owner of Grease Monkey.
