The Plaza hosts kids’ Christmas party

Santa was on hand at The Plaza Arts Center on Dec. 2 during its annual Christmas at the Plaza event. Guests were encouraged to visit Saturday morning to join in on several fun, free, family activities.

Habitat for Humanity celebrates 25 Years in Putnam County

In 2023, Habitat for Humanity of Putnam (HFH) dedicated three Habitat homes, began construction on two new homes, worked with many ongoing and new partners and volunteers, and celebrated its 25th anniversary.

LOABA Christmas Outreach Drive receives donation

Luxury Lake Oconee Real Estate Group and Weidmann Remodeling partnered to sponsor the Lake Oconee Area Builders Association (LOABA) Christmas Outreach Drive with a $2,500 donation for local charities during the holiday season.

The Piedmont Soil and Water Conservation District works closely with the Natural Resources Conservation Service (NCRS) each year to identify and recognize one outstanding person from each Georgia county who has done remarkable work in protecting and conserving natural resources.
