Eatonton woman killed in single-car crash

An Eatonton woman lost her life in a single-car crash over the weekend, the case is still under investigation, authorities said. Leslie Irene Gunnels, 59, of Eatonton, was dead when emergency personnel arrived and pronounced dead at the scene by Putnam County Deputy Coroner Pat Welch.

Remembering a group of heroes in Iraq
