Georgia PSC hears Hancock County eminent domain case

A lawyer representing several Hancock County property owners asked the Georgia Public Service Commission Tuesday to overturn a hearing officer’s recommendation to let Sandersville Railroad Co. condemn 43 acres through eminent domain.

Global Samaritans will present its 13th annual concert at the Corry House on Sept. 13, featuring the Kinchafoonee Cowboys.The Albany-area band is named after Kinchafoonee Creek, a Georgia Flint River tributary.

Fisherman’s body found in Lake Sinclair

A Dublin man died on Lake Sinclair doing what he loved most. Jeremy Bernard Williams, 45, went fishing on Lake Sinclair around 9 a.m. Sunday but never returned home as expected that evening.

Dublin man reported missing after going fishing

Putnam County and state authorities are searching for a Dublin man who went fishing yesterday morning and hasn't been heard from since then. Putnam County Sheriff Howard Sills said Jeremy Bernard Williams, 45, went fishing on Lake Sinclair around 9 a.m. Sunday, but he never returned home.
