Bulldogs prepare for Tigers in Columbia

After what some Bulldog fans may call a “lackluster” 39-22 victory over the Golden Flashes of Kent State, the Georgia Bulldogs football team (4-0, 2-0 SEC) looks ahead to its second conference game of the season. The Bulldogs will travel to Columbia, Mo.

FOOTBALL: War Eagles pound Bulldogs in region opener

Putnam County opened 2022 region play with a massive home victory over Butler this past Friday. The War Eagles (3-1, 1-0 Region 4-AA) pounded the Bulldogs 44-0 at Al Reaves Field. “We cleaned up some things, but honestly, we’ve still got to get better.
The Ocmulgee Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA), which serves children in foster care in Baldwin, Greene, Hancock, Jasper, Jones, Morgan, Putnam and Wilkinson Counties, held its 19th annual Swing a Club for CASA golf tournament Sept. 8, at the Bear’s Best course in Suwanee. Driving the same car number that carried teammate Kurt Busch to victory in the May race at Kansas Speedway, Bubba Wallace claimed a dramatic win at the same track in Sunday’s Hollywood Casino 400, the second event in the first round of the Cup Series Playoffs.
